National Scrapbooking Day

so it's almost here and i will be scrapping the day away. Christopher wanted to go camping in Leavenworth and i put my foot down! we compromised on staying home saturday (for me to obtain as many freebies as i possibly can) and then sunday we would go on a day hike.
i have had this 8.5 x 11 album from scrapworks for YEARS and i am finally filling with layouts of Christopher and his kids. it makes me so happy.

tonight i got a jump start of NSD fever by hanging out in the party room at Everyday Storyteller. i didn't win, but they have a super charged up playlist that i have been listening to while scrapping a halloween layout.
rockin good. http://www.everydaystoryteller.com/party/

Ms. Megan

Happy

This week I have been super productive. I started scrapbooking again and have 7 finished layouts to share. My approach is fast and easy! I also starting reading Divergent which is a fun teen book that I should finish shortly.
And lastly, it's been staff appreciation week at the firm I work at and I have been in charge of the ping pong tournament. (we take ping pong very seriously here!)

I took the Art of Poster design class from Jessica Sprague and it really helped to spruce up my ping pong flyers.

Layouts to come!

Weekends to Live for

Enjoyed a wonderful weekend in the mid 60 degrees. Saturday we paid $6.99 to watch Marley on Facebook. Worth it in my opinion. I love Bob Marley's music and have always enjoyed watching documentaries on him. One of my favorite parts is when Ziggy is getting interviewed and tells his perspective of his dad.

On Sunday, we drove out to North Bend to hike Mt. Si. If you are not in shape Mt. Si will kick your butt. It is a 4 mile hike to the vista view (elevation 4,167 feet) 8 miles roundtrip. The hardest part for me has always been coming down. Not my knees, but on my toes.
We had a great view of Mt. Rainier.
I love how they post markers every mile so I don't have to ask Christopher, "Are we there yet?"
